Sky Clockwork (Table 10): clean sweep guide

Sky Clockwork adds a ticking twist to this free online pinball game: a cracked shell grows back if you leave its bubble alone too long. A spiral blows in a column and a pyramid of small bubbles, the LIFT and CASCADE ramps frame the board, and the only way to win is to finish what you start.

How the table is laid out

A row of 3 pop bumpers crosses the top: cyan, coral and yellow. The LIFT ramp climbs the left side and the CASCADE ramp the right, with a drop-target bank on the left of the mid-field.

Coloured rings: yellow on the middle left, cyan on the lower left and coral in the lower centre. The big bubbles, all 2 shells, are cyan in the middle centre and on the middle left, coral on the middle right and yellow on the lower right. Shells regrow 40 seconds after a crack.

A spiral blows in a column-shaped and a pyramid-shaped cluster of small bubbles, each hanging from a gold-ring anchor. A bomb bubble and a clock bubble (+5 s) hide among them.

The objective

CLEAN SWEEP: pop every big bubble and both clusters before the clock runs out, and finish each big bubble before its cracked shell grows back. Only matching colours pop; paint the ball in a top lane (flippers rotate them), a ring, a ramp or with the two-flipper swap. Pop an anchor to drop its cluster.

Strategy, step by step

  1. Treat every crack as a promise: once a shell breaks, hit the same bubble again within 40 seconds or you start over on it.
  2. Sky Clockwork's two ramps are the antidote to regrowth: whatever LIFT or CASCADE hands back is armed and demolishes a whole two-layer target before the timer can restore anything.
  3. Sky Clockwork puts its two cyan targets side by side, middle left and middle centre. One cyan charge can crack both in a single sweep across the upper half.
  4. Sky Clockwork's lone yellow target sits on the lower right, nowhere near its yellow port; a diagonal launch from the left flipper after a pass through the middle left port is the reliable line.
  5. The spiral on Sky Clockwork mixes a pyramid with a column; detonating the pyramid's bomb gives a clear line to its anchor, which then takes the pyramid down.

How to get 3 stars

QUICK: at least a quarter of the clock left when the board is empty. NO BALL LOST: no drains (a drain costs 5 seconds, and regrowing shells punish the delay). WHOLE CLUSTER: pop a gold-ring anchor to drop a cluster whole.

Common mistakes

  • Cracking all four big bubbles once and then coming back. By then the first shells have grown again.
  • Draining right after a crack; the 5 seconds lost plus the regrow can cost the QUICK star.
  • Wasting a ramp climb on a single-shell target when a two-shell bubble is waiting.

The first table takes one minute.

The Primordial Bubble takes a little longer.
