How the table is laid out
A triangle of 3 pop bumpers sits at the top: cyan, coral and yellow. The LIFT ramp climbs the left side and the CASCADE ramp the right, a drop-target bank sits on the right of the mid-field and a magnet in the lower left is always on.
Coloured rings: yellow in the upper centre, coral on the upper right and cyan in the lower centre. The big bubbles are cyan on the middle left (1 shell), coral on the middle right (2 shells) and yellow in the lower centre (1 shell).
A spiral blows in a heart-shaped and a flower-shaped cluster of small bubbles, each hanging from a gold-ring anchor, with a gold bubble (points x2) and a bomb bubble among them. The drift moves everything in a cycle of about 13 seconds.
The objective
DRIFT: pop every big bubble and both clusters before the clock runs out while they sway on the current. Only matching colours pop. Paint the ball in a top lane (flippers rotate them), a ring, a ramp or with the two-flipper swap. Pop an anchor to drop its cluster.
Strategy, step by step
- Watch one full sway of the current before committing: shots land best at the ends of the swing, when the bubbles slow down before turning.
- The permanent magnet on Magnetic Tide traps any ball rolling low on the left. Treat it as a pause button and let go only when the drifting cyan target on the middle left swings back.
- Magnetic Tide paints coral from a port high on the upper right. Drop from it onto the sturdy coral target below it and stay on that flank until both layers go.
- Ramp shots ignore the drift: an armed ball from LIFT or CASCADE bursts the whole coral bubble in one hit.
- The heart and flower anchors drift too; tag the bomb bubble first to open space around the gold ring.
How to get 3 stars
QUICK: at least a quarter of the clock left at the end. NO BALL LOST: no drains (a drain costs 5 seconds). WHOLE CLUSTER: pop the heart's or the flower's gold-ring anchor while it drifts.
Common mistakes
- Flipping at where a bubble was a moment ago. Aim at where the current is taking it.
- Fighting the lower-left magnet with frantic flips; it is always on, so use it as a hold instead.
- On Magnetic Tide, painting yellow at the upper centre port and then rolling over the low cyan port before the shot lands.
